PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The BS Electrical Engineering is a five-year degree program designed to provide a broad liberal education as well as a strong foundation in computing, engineering, mathematical and scientific fundamentals in preparation to their practice as electrical engineers.
The BSEE curriculum is based from the standards and minimum requirement of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and is benchmarked from the curriculum of leading international academic institutions offering this program.
Program Objectives
AMA’s BSEE program aims to produce globally competitive graduates who will be professionally competent, morally upright, and socially responsible contributors to national development.
Specifically, the program intends:
- To enable students to obtain a comprehensive knowledge and deep understanding of the field of Electrical Engineering.
- To enable to acquire the theoretical and practical skills needed to be a globally competitive professional Electrical Engineer.
- To enable students to get a broad liberal education in the arts and letters, social sciences and philosophy, natural science and mathematics.
- To enable students to develop the cultural sensitivity, ethical responsibility, and social consciousness needed to become upright citizens of the Philippines and the world.
