DISCONTINUANCE
OF STUDIES / LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Discontinuance of studies results
either through the issuance of transfer credentials
(Honorable Dismissal) issued by the Registrar’s
Office for reasonable cause or upon petition of the
student, or by an order of dismissal by the University
President after the commission of a major serious offense
specified in the Code of Conduct for Students.
Should a student wish to leave the
University temporarily, he must first secure permission
from the Dean to be on leave of absence stating the
definite period and the reasons for his leave. He must
fully accomplish the leave of absence form which he
can secure at the Registrar’s Office. Otherwise,
the student’s discontinuance of studies shall
be counted against him for purpose of determining the
maximum residency rule.
