The School of Graduate Studies
(SGS) students are granted access to some of the most
modern computer equipment such as Windows NT, Linux Multimedia,
Java Script and the latest PC Pentium models. The AMA
Computer University has an extensive offering of the latest
software, digital laboratories, drafting, local area network
(LAN), and Internet laboratories. Aside from all these
facilities, SGS enlisted an equally impressive group of
experts to teach their students and guide them through
the academic process.
SGS links you to the world. AMA Computer
University is a member of the prestigious American League
of Colleges and Universities (ALOCU), and its linkage
with the Information Superhighway through AMANET allows
students access to the global community. AMA Computer
University SGS (AMACU-SGS) facilities are always available
to assist students and faculty as well on various concerns.
SGS students are expected to be matured
and responsible individuals and as such, upon admission,
they assume full responsibility for acquainting themselves
with and observing the requirements, rules and regulations
of the graduate school. The school reserves the right
to change or modify its program, curriculum, requirements
and/or its rules and regulations, partly or in whole,
at anytime upon approval of the Commission on Higher Education.
Adherence to academic excellence,
respect for authority and unfailing courtesy are expected
at all times from all SGS students.
The program is scheduled on a
six trimestral basis. Each course is given three (3) units
credit. A student is required to complete 36 academic
units, including thesis writing and oral defense of the
thesis. The Revised Curriculum consists of 36 units in
all its programs except those whose undergraduate courses
are not related to the masteral course they are to pursue.
