COLLEGE OF COMPUTER STUDIES

Students of the College of Computer Studies are thoroughly trained to design and develop various computer-based systems in almost every applicable domain such as aerospace, engineering, finance, management, law, manufacturing and pharmacology. As future graduates, they will also become qualified as members of any research and development team aimed to improve advanced technologies, design software and hardware tools, and specify, design and maintain computing infrastructure for various institutions.

BS Computer Science
The Computer Science program gives students an extensive background in the principles and theories of computer science. The discipline of computer science has less to do with what device to work with, but more especially with the concepts behind what they do and how they do it. The course has an intensive mathematical embodiment based on the precept that scientific and computational processes, as well as abstract models, describe the universal technological phenomena.

BS Information Technology
The Information Technology program is focused on the acquisition of theory and technical competencies associated with the IT profession. The core courses provide fundamental knowledge and application in both the information systems function and system development. It does not deal extensively on math, sciences, or management, but delivers the latest technological advancement at the students’ fingertips.

BS Information Management
The Information Management program provides students a combination of knowledge, practice, and application of theory to information management problems. The program keeps pace with changing technology and related business practices by offering courses in areas such as the Internet, multimedia technologies, and networking. The curriculum stresses quantitative and qualitative communication skills and provides a foundation in business environments. Students learn how to evaluate, integrate, and apply technologies to resolve business challenges.
